The Bachelor of Arts (Honours) in Journalism final-year students present a collection of research projects whose titles show how their research is a reflection of the different challenges journalists in Malta are currently facing. Whether its political influence, abuse towards journalists, the ever-changing media platforms, or the issue of false news, these issues and topics all offered a source of inspiration for the students. The inspiration came in the form of a combination of curiosity, ideology as well as anger. Journalism students’ research projects, are just but one of the many pieces of journalistic work that the students would have done during the duration of their course.
Some of the best pieces of work each student would have developed throughout their studies, either in the form of assignments or work in industry, can be viewed online where one can get a feel of some of the hands-on work that the students would have worked on during their studies.
